I must say that's one of the most entertaining "OMG I SCREWED MY ROOK... oh wait checkmate, phew" moments I've ever had. Ahahaha. Granted I could have retreated and been fine but I panicked for a second.

I thought you should have started marching you pawns on the queens side...I would have not been able to defend both weaknesses.

Yep. Nice effort though. I was one move away from at least losing a fair bit of my pawn wall. Btw now that it's all said and done... WOW did I screw up huge. I had a forced exchange, your knight and queen for my rooks. Granted this ended up working out, but it was staring me in the face for 5 - 6 turns and I didn't see it until I couldn't do it anymore. :P

Damn, of all the moves I considered for your queen, that was not one of them. It seems like the most obvious one too, as it puts a big hinge in my plans. My original goal was to trade of bishops, then I thought I might be able to win a pawn in the process.
