I'll concede after, but can we roll back just one move first? I meant to sacrifice the second rook AFTER moving my king to F2 so he's not in check when you take the rook. Getting to that point was the idea behind the first rook sacrifice, and I'm pretty sure I'm guaranteed to come out ahead.

Agreed! For half the game, things were so locked up it felt like there were hardly any productive moves. However, I think you've won. I did indeed overlook something silly with the first rook sacrifice, and I just gave you another. This one was a mistake while I was playing around with my options. Oops. :p

I'm certain Mike is the better player - I've just had lots of time during lectures to think out my next moves. It's an excellent way to practice, though.

We're finally reaching a tipping point - in a couple more moves at most, the trades are likely to begin.

Correction I guess you roughly made 23 moves against him haha, since he would have made half the moves, depending on whose turn it is. It's still impressive!

Joseph, I have to say man that I am sooo impressed with your skills at chess. Its not every day that one of my friends can make 47 moves against my buddy mike and live to tell the tale. Also, THERE ARE SO MANY PIECES remaining on the board. Well done, both of you!
