Ahahahaha yeah. The only reason I guided Justin through that one is because you told him to do everything he could to get out of it. So he called me, lol.

haha, indeed, one of my flaws as a player I guess. That is I like to gamble. I suppose I will have to play more conservative against you. I am currently In a game with Nick where I have done the same thing, but I think I am in a better position than I was against you, but no tips for Nick please:).

As for queen's gambit, I'm a tad bored of it wanted to go somewhere else this game. I never open e5.

Well, you pressed too hard while not QUITE in the position to finish. You let me get a few free pawns without really sacrificing my queen's threat. Material-wise, a rook is worth almost a knight and a bishop, so once I got my second rook active it was much more even than it seemed. My three passed pawns on the left put a huge amount of pressure on you. Forced you to keep the tempo up, which can get tough.

But yeah, when I exchanged my knight for your rook then gave you my bishop for free early, I thought my goose was cooked. Getting my right rook into play took a lot of work.

Before you left on vacation, I thought I had the game, but as it progressed, I realized you weren't in as bad of shape as I first realized...or perhaps you were, but I can't take away the fact that you played fantastic in the last half of the game.

ahh, no more queens gambit?

I figured you would surrender, but when I first saw this game I panicked, thinking that I had missed a checkmate, ahaha. I was skirting the edge a lot that game.
