Hey Nick! My Dad and I are inviting you to a scotch tasting festival, I really hope you can attend. It is at Crowfoot Wine and Spirits, It is being held on Saturday, January 28th, 2012, The price for getting in is $40.00 and it starts at 7:00pm. We can try the most amazing scotches and there should also be food. There will probably be Haggis and Cheese! Anyways please leave the evening of the 28th open! It will be lots of fun! Cheers man!

Oh wow what a variety of favor, dude, if that one is cheaper than the Oban, then you could totally buy my Dad that one if you were looking at getting him something. Honestly, My dad is not really a big fan of peaty scotches like me. But he does like the really smooth ones.

Oban is cool, I have tried that one. I did also try a Lagavulin, not sure if it was the 16.
One recent favorite was the 10yr Jura, it is not a peaty one, but very good. Honey, caramel, coffee and licorice.

By the way my did likes Oban! It's not my personal favorite. Its really smooth but not so peaty! Anyways I remember you asked me what he likes, so he likes Oban. What is your favorite scotch?

Cool man, I hope your having a good time. Reading and drinking coffee sound good but could be topped off by playing chess and drinking good scotch. Do you like Lagavulin 16 yr?
Nick

Yes and no. I am mostly drinking coffee and reading but I am just not in Calgary at the time. My phone is in and out around now, I just got your text.
