No you're finished Nick. You can't stalemate this Mike has too many pawns left and your king cannot move to the right.

It shouldn't

I think that move may get me a stalemate.

I think Nick is starting to get used to watching the knights very carefully then, ahahaha, as I keep punishing him with mine. It's the indirect forks that are giving him trouble right now. A knight attacking two pieces is easy to see, but I think we need to use more 'blocked' attacks against Nick. Attacks where moving a piece causes another piece to give check, giving the piece that moved a free move and the ability to move anywhere it likes, creating a fork with two different pieces.

don't worry, it will....I am trying to use attacks that are memorable, so the more you see them the more you will recognize when they are coming. the rook king fork with the bishop or a queen is a good 1, but commonly bothe the bishop and the queen are needed for the attack to succeed.

Mmm the b5 pawn attack was a big tactical blunder. You had too much going on and not enough defense anywhere. Instead of slapping you on the wrist for it, Mike used the free move to set up a huge attack.

I would have to say the game was lost at Move 13. This theory stuff is really working for out you. Hopefully some of this commentary is sinking in.

sweet, I was just thinking of this game. The way i took you apart there was a pretty classical attack. In stead of forking with knights I was forking with bishops. I really want to show you the kings weakside play. I have lost to it a couple times, and the first time I lost to it was against a grand master in a 5 min. clocked game.

yes, i was trying not to give you that option for the last few turns.

Enough of that queen.
